Do you repair windows you did not install?
Yes. We service uPVC, aluminium and wooden windows regardless of who supplied them, provided replacement hardware and profiles are still available for that system.
Is it worth repairing, or should I replace the window?
If the frame is sound and square, repair is almost always the cheaper option — glass, gaskets and hardware are all replaceable. Replacement makes sense when the frame itself has warped, corroded or lost its seal integrity.
Will repairing the seals actually reduce traffic noise?
Often, yes. Sound leaks through air gaps before it passes through glass, so perished gaskets and poor seals are frequently the real cause rather than the glazing itself. We assess the seal line before recommending acoustic glass.
