Structural glazing is a specialized curtain-wall or façade system in which glass is bonded directly to a building’s structural framing (usually aluminum or steel) using high-strength, weather-resistant silicone sealants or other approved adhesives, rather than being held in place by conventional mechanical fasteners or exterior pressure plates.
